Chapter 6: IS in Business

The Federal Communications Commission has a bill in the works to provide affordable broadband service to all, which its expected costs range from 20 billion to 350 billion dollars. Its said that 3-6 million americans do not recieve high speed internet and don't have the helpful resources that the majority already have. I beleive the Internet has its pro's and con's like everything else but, the Internet is vital resource for any individual whether using it for information, a business, student etc. We live in a predominately fast paced society where large amounts of information are a hand click away from your viwing pleasure.
I correlated this article with the Database Management System part which explains in detail how information on the Internet works, how its maintained and updated. From a business standpoint, it would make a business more viable in terms of effciency and allow the firms to minimize human error by being able to double check any type of information within a matter of seconds.
